Nelson Amos Studio
"Summer Serenade" "Classical Guitar Recital" "Fine Tuning"
Compact Disc Recordings
The Nelson Amos Studio is sometimes humorously described as "a hobby that grew out of hand." These compact disc recordings, however, reflect the true, life-long work of both Nelson and Korin.

Both Nelson and his EMU students are featured on this second site playing the classical guitar.

Nelson's first classical guitar album appeared in 1988. Originally in tape format, the 45-minute studio recording has since been remastered and is now available on compact disc.

His newest album, also recorded at the Solid Sound Studio in Ann Arbor, presents favorite guitar pieces performed on the "Summer Serenade" concert series at the Studio in July and August of 2006.

The third CD features the piano music of Paul Fine who - incidentally - happens to be our family physician. Korin summons her remarkable pianistic skills for this sparkling collection of pieces. Paul adds his own personal touch by performing a select number of the works.
